Small alpine refuge located at the foot of the Bernina massif at an altitude of 2636m, in the locality of Bocchetta delle Forbici. Stage of the Alta via della Valmalenco and of the Bernina Sud path. Typical cuisine. For hikers and families who want an experience at high altitude immersed in the fantastic nature of Valmalenco. In the wooden dining room a large stone stove will keep you company on the coldest evenings, preparing you for the breathtaking starry nights on the panoramic terrace of the refuge. Numerous approaches paths from 2.00 to 4.00 hours, departure for ascent to the various peaks of the massif. In the ski mountaineering season, a destination in itself or a stage for more profitable climbs.

Read everythingFrom the refuge you can climb the nearby Monte delle Forbici, with a wonderful panorama over the whole valley and the high peaks of the Bernina (about 1 hour). Slightly longer climb to Sasso Moro and for expert mountaineers on the walls of the peaks of Musella. Stage for the climb to 4000 in the area, the Bernina peak, and all the nearby peaks. Numerous hikes and more demanding alpine climbs.
