Nestled among the green pastures at the edge of the forest or covered by soft and abundant snow a few steps from the ski slopes, at 1369 meters above sea level on the Cereda Pass there is the CEREDA REFUGE. Managed by the Iagher family that has been welcoming guests for years, offering them the simplicity and richness of family management, the genuineness of the typical products of the family farm combined with the goodness of the Trentino cuisine. The Cereda Refuge has been completely renovated and has rooms with bathrooms. Only 8 km from Fiera di Primiero located in the municipality of Transacqua, the Cereda Refuge is the ideal place for a holiday in close contact with nature. There are many opportunities to meet wild animals or visit the family farm not far from the Cereda Refuge, stroll along mountain paths to touch the majesty of the rocks of the Piz di Sagron, tracks at night with snowshoes and many other initiatives that we will be happy to tell. The Rifugio Cereda is managed by the Iagher family, Bruno and Anna Broch with the collaboration of their sons Federico, Elena, Emanuele and Lorenzo. The refuge was completely renovated in 1998, and has comfortable rooms with bathrooms. In the kitchen you will find Anna who has learned most of her culinary knowledge from her mother Maria who still runs the farm a short distance away. She has also learned about the care of flowers and the love for hens, excellent producers of fresh eggs but a contested target for clever foxes that wander around at night. Bruno is a whole making and ... he really does it all, you can find it in the kitchen or to fix a roof, in the laundry room or better yet to cut the grass in the garden. But both do not lack the time to chat with customers to guarantee a genuine holiday in close contact with the local reality. Bruno will accompany you on night walks with snowshoes and Anna will be waiting for you with a warm cup of mulled wine. There will be numerous possibilities for walks on the snow cover but above all in the summer, walking on comfortable sunny paths reaching alpine churches, or at high altitudes even above 2000 meters. The Lagher family will be happy to provide all the information necessary to better plan your holiday with the certainty that the family management and care of the products used in the kitchen are guaranteed by a brand of loyalty and love for the uncontaminated nature of the Cereda Pass. Read everythingThere are countless possible excursions, from the simplest walks on the forest roads of the Pass to the little church of Santa Rita or to the nearby Malga Fossetta; to the most demanding excursions to the magnificent Val Canali, passing through the meadows of Dalaip, or towards the small villages of Sagron-Mis. Finally for the fittest you can choose the AltaVia delle Dolomiti 2 hiking trail, towards the Treviso and Boz Refuges.
