The Val Saisera route winds along the entire valley through woods and clearings.
It extends in the heart of the Julian Alps surrounded by the walls of Montasio, Grande and Piccolo Nabois, Jof Fuart, and the Cime delle Rondini. The route winds along the entire valley through woods and clearings, extends for 15 kilometers and has a medium difficulty level, particularly in the part called "Alta Saisera", accessible to all enthusiasts of this sport. The part of the route called "Bassa Saisera" is characterized by long and gentle semi-flat stretches which alternate with ups and downs. There are spacious car parks serving the track and three catering businesses are located near the track.
How to get there: about 6 km before Tarvisio in the direction of Austria, turn right to reach Valbruna. From the town, follow the signs for Val Saisera; starting from the Austro-Hungarian Cemetery, the "Bassa Saisera" track begins. Traveling along the entire valley, the Alta Saisera track begins from the Locanda Jof in Montasio.

It all started in 2013, when our family fell in love with the wild and uncontaminated nature of Val Saisera and decided to recover and enhance the area of the former Polveriera di Valbruna which had been disused for over twenty years.
Now, in the presence of the majestic rocks of the Jôf di Montasio, the Kile Alpine Resort has arisen, where the border between architecture and landscape dissolves, creating a unique atmosphere.
The architect Chiara Plazzota was able to revisit the traditional idea of the mountain hut, creating a resort made up of seven modern chalets, which retain the sensation of warmth thanks to the skilful use of stone and wood.

A few kilometers from Tarvisio, where the "three borders" of Austria, Italy and Slovenia meet, stands the Kile Alpine Resort, a place where time, after more than twenty years of abandonment, has started to flow again thanks to the Del Bianco family, who he was able to blend the ancient and the modern, but without altering the wild and uncontaminated nature of the place.
