The mountain hut "Ütia de Börz" at 2,006 m a.s.l. it is located at the top of the Passo delle Erbe, at the gateway to the Puez-Odle Natural Park and its natural wonders. The privileged position makes it the ideal starting point for countless activities throughout the year: from countless trekking, cycling routes and climbing cliffs in the summer to excursions with snowshoes, ski mountaineering tours, excursions with dog sledding, cross-country ski runs and fantastic toboggan runs during the winter months. The refuge is located in front of the suggestive Sass de Pütia mountain and surrounded by alpine meadows, fragrant pine woods and a unique view of the majestic Dolomites. Our rooms are all furnished with pine wood, a wood known for its benefits, as well as for its characteristic color and unmistakable scent. Suitable for families, couples, groups of friends or even lonely spirits who want to experience the thrill of spending a night in a refuge at 2,006 m above sea level, away from the daily chaos and in the midst of unspoiled nature. The hotel-restaurant Ütia de Börz offers cuisine with simple and genuine flavors to be enjoyed on the large panoramic terrace that offers a view full of emotions surrounded by a warm setting. At Ütia de Börz we strive every day to churn out a variety of dishes rich in both traditions and flavors. Food is a passion handed down from generation to generation and we take our task of continuing to pass it seriously.
Read everythingPasso delle Erbe can be easily reached by car, motorbike or bicycle from Val Badia (all year round), from Val Isarco / Eisacktal via Bressanone / Brixen, Luson / Lüsen or from Funes / Villnöß (only in summer). In summer it is possible to reach the refuge by public transport. The refuge can also be reached on foot: 1h30 'from the Montemuro Refuge, 1h30' from the Genova Refuge.

- Ascent to the summit of Sass de Pütia - Hike to Mount Gabler - Roda de Pütia: 4-5 hour loop hike around Sass de Pütia. It starts directly from the refuge with a stop for lunch in the mountain huts located along the route.
- Excursion to the Monte Muro Refuge: from the Ütia de Börz descend to the Pe de Börz car park and then continue to the Monte Muro Refuge. From the refuge you can also reach the summit of Monte Muro (in winter it is possible with snowshoes).
- Ski tour: Monte Muro - Welscher Ring - Gabeler
