The Firenze Refuge is among the oldest refuges in Val Gardena and is located in the heart of the majestic Odle in the Puez-Odle Natural Park in S. Cristina. It also offers a fantastic view of the Stevia, the Sassolungo, the Molignon and the Sciliar. It is a popular destination and a strategic starting point for beautiful walks at the foot of the Odle, climbing and mainly for the Sass Rigais via ferrata (3025m). It can be easily reached on foot from Selva Val Gardena or from S. Cristina (1.5 hours) or with the Col Raiser cable car (20 min).
