The Sasso Bianco Refuge is located below the summit of Sasso Bianco (2407 m) on a splendid grassy terrace overlooking Monte Civetta. Run by two young guys ready to welcome you and offer you simple and tasty typical dishes, have a chat and take care of your stay to give you an experience of relaxation and fun. The property has a large dining room and an outdoor terrace for meals; while for overnight stays the refuge is equipped with a large bedroom with bunk beds. Once you arrive at the refuge, after a pit stop based on typical dishes and homemade desserts, it is possible to continue towards the Cima Sasso Bianco (2407m. - 2 hour ascent on the path) which offers a 360° view of the Dolomites (when the sky is clear you will feel like touching the Marmolada, try it!!). Cima Sasso Bianco is also called "the Belvedere of the Dolomites" for the breathtaking view it offers to passionate hikers who conquer it!

Elena Bergamin: she is a city girl, originally from the Varese area, who found her passion for the Belluno Dolomites when her grandfather took her for the first time at 14 years old. After working for four seasons at the Sasso Bianco refuge, winning the affection of the owners Michele and Luciana, she was asked to manage the refuge. Elena accepted and found a mountain lover of her age, Alessandro, who joined her adventure. Despite the fears linked to a new beginning, Elena is enthusiastic about doing what she really wants and enhancing a little jewel in the Dolomites that she deserves to be experienced.
