The Mischabelhütte is the starting point for some wonderful tours. The path of the hut is challenging and not being afraid of dizziness and safe feet are a fundamental prerequisite for climbing.
In the midst of a high mountain mountain landscape, at the foot of the northeastern ridge of the Lenzspitze, surrounded by 4000m, lies the Mischabelhütte at 3340m like an eagle's nest. It is a useful destination and a starting point for several climbs.
The upper part (new hut) with kitchen, sleeping places, dining room and toilet can be described as the main building. The lower hut serves as an additional bed, as well as for periods not managed as a winter shelter. The owner and builder of the Mischabelhütte is the Academic Alpine Club of Zurich (AACZ). We offer 130 beds, dinner, breakfast, drinks, tea and a small menu of the day with mainly regional specialties.

The varied and demanding hut run is already a special experience and a destination only for experienced hikers. The exposed areas are secured with pins and wire ropes.
Using the cable car to Hannig the travel time is reduced by approximately 1 hour.
