The Alpenrose Refuge (1.304m) is located in the town of Carcoforo in the Alta Valsesia Natural Park, more precisely in Val d'Egua, whose name is proper to the stream that runs alongside it.
It is easily accessible by car.

From the refuge there are numerous itineraries to be taken, including Cima del Tiglio, Pizzo Montevecchio, Pizzo Moriana, Passo della Miniera and many others.
There are different paths, well marked, for all tastes and abilities, even for four-legged friends.
For true trekking enthusiasts there is a path that starts from the town of Carcoforo arriving in Alagna, at the foot of Monte Rosa in the beautiful Valsesia.
